Job Readiness

Course Description

This course prepares students for today's most demanding employers.  Students will prepare Resumes and Cover Letters.  Students will also prepare for interviews by learning techniques which will help them answer interview questions with confidence.

 

Public Speaking and presentation skills

Course Description

Through a variety of Exercises including casual conversation, debates, speeches and presentations, students perfect their advanced conversation, public speaking and presentation skills.  Authentic materials on contemporary subject matter are used.

English for Tourism

Course Description

This course will introduce students to all sectors of the tourism industry.  They will discover how this industry functions to meet tourist needs and expectations.  Services within the industry including transportation, accommodation, food and beverage, events and conferences, adventure tourism, eco-tourism and others will be examined.  This course is ideal for students planning to continue their studies in tourism with career aspirations in this sector.

 

These programs are offered as electives in the intensive and super intensive formats

English Through Literature

Course Description:

In this course students read and discuss a variety of classic and modern novels which have been adapted to their reading level. The film version of these novels will also be viewed. Class activities include making comparisons between the novel and its film adaptation.
