Metropolitan College Programs have been designed to offer students an
enriched learning experience. Since your success depends on your ability
to function at an advanced level, our programs go beyond functional
English to provide a content-rich, high-standards curriculum that
prepares you to become a successful communicator.
As all aspects of your life depend on your ability to communicate effectively, programs have been designed to
be results focused. Each class has between 4-8 students, ensuring that you receive the attention you need
to achieve your goals.
Small classes also give you
more opportunity to participate in conversation and begin to communicate
from the very first day
Our
Intensive and Super Intensive Program
Metropolitan College
intensive courses consist of a combination of in class
hours and private lessons.
We have found that this is more effective than simply adding more class
hours to an English language program.
Our
Intensive study format
consists of 20 hours per week in class and
an additional 2 hours
per week of private lessons.
The
Supper-Intensive study format consists of 20 hours per week in class and
an additional 4 hours per week of private lessons.
Combining
class lessons with private lessons
is a very effective way of making language learning more rigorous.
Students make good use of their time in class as they are able to stay
focused.
During their private lessons students get the one on one attention they need
to improve in the areas they have particular difficulties with.
Many students take advantage of their private lesson hours in order to
practice their conversation skills.
Note: Private Lesson
hours can be used towards:
-Test preparation ( TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, Cambridge
Examinations)
-Specialized Courses (Business English, Medical English)
-Conversation and pronunciation
-Grammar and Vocabulary
-Or a customized course Specifically designed for you.
